Advanced Painting Class:

Finding Your Artistic Voice

Technique is only part of becoming an artist. In this six-week studio class, we'll focus on developing the qualities that make your work uniquely your own. Through individual painting projects, critiques, discussions, and personalized instruction, you'll explore composition, color, subject matter, and artistic decision-making while identifying recurring themes and strengths within your work. Whether you're hoping to develop a cohesive body of work or simply move beyond painting what you see, this class will help you create work that feels more personal and intentional.

Students should have previous painting experience and be comfortable working independently. This class is suitable for adults and teens 16+. Basic drawing and painting materials provided (students may wish to bring anything more specific to their individual interests).
